Melissa L. Farran, Vice President
Melissa brings to Northlight Capital over 11 years of experience working with executive management teams. Her background includes CEO recruitment and assessment as well as experience working with executives to identify and evaluate investment opportunities across various industries. As Vice President of Northlight Capital, Melissa works with the Executive Advisory Board and Operating Partner Group to identify and assess investment opportunities, works on transaction execution and oversees the identification and assessment of CEOs and management teams for current and future portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Northlight, Melissa was a Vice President at Carlyle Group, a Chicago based executive search firm. Melissa spent the earlier part of her career with A.T. Kearney, a global management consulting firm where she worked closely with the firm's Partners to grow their practices on a global basis at the Associate through Partner level. During Melissa's tenure at A.T. Kearney, she was responsible for creating a global interview/assessment process for the firm. Melissa also launched the firm's international recruitment program, consultant referral program and European Summer Associate Program. Melissa has a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
